IMPORTANT NOTE:  You’re encouraged to create a personal schedule for your planning and reference during the conference, and to receive relevant, event notifications.  This will also help conference administration to see which classes may need to be moved to a larger room to accommodate greater interest.   However; schedules are not being used to hold or otherwise guarantee attendee seats for this event.

Taking photos of the night sky and seeing just how many stars there are is always awe inspiring.
Creating new compositions and experimenting with the stars has been an on-going quest for me.
Studying the Impressionistic Painters benefits many types of photography so I choose the obvious when to apply this to the night sky, Vincent Van Goth. In this presentation we will run thru the complete workflow from compositional ideas, to camera settings and into the computer where we cover development, noise reduction tips, star stacking, stitching, compositing and finishing touches.
Software covered – Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop, StarStaX, PTGui/HuGui (stitching) & Google Nik Color Effects Pro
