Summer weather in Arizona can be unpredictable, exhilarating, and dangerous at times. Being able to capture incredible images of these magnificent monsoon storms can be hit or miss. Join Lauren Bailey, a southern Arizona photographer whose images have been featured in Arizona Highways, The Weather Channel, and local media outlets, as she shares her own photos and discusses the elements necessary in creating dynamic images that accurately display the power and magnitude of summer thunderstorms. Topics include learning the capabilities of camera gear, using basic weather and radar apps to get in the best position, staying safe around thunderstorms, and discovering locations near that offer the best backdrop for future storms.
